The Donatsch Chardonnay Passion 2020 shows a noble, refined and mineral-scented, still reductive and somewhat oaky bouquet of clear, ripe and elegant tropical fruit aromas intertwined with some flinty notes of crushed stones. Finessed and stimulatingly salty on the palate, this is a medium to full-bodied, dense and elegant yet pure and wonderfully tensioned Chardonnay that was entirely vinified in oak barrels and reveals a long and intense finish with fine tannins and a deep, mineral soul.
