The 2008 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Calcarole is a beautiful wine with loads of balsamic intensity that comes off as rosemary oil, hummus, eucalyptus and dried ginger. The wine shows a strong, masculine side with tight tannins and structure next to a feminine side that is evident in its pretty berry flavors. 92+/100 (11.2013)
