The Fliederhof Helen is a characterful Lagrein that reflects its origin in every nuance. The grapes come from a unique vineyard at the southern edge of the Eisack Valley, with soils of clayey moraine and mountain gravel. These mineral-rich soils warm quickly during the day and retain heat, while cool valley breezes provide constant freshness. This special terroir gives the wine both power and elegance.


In the glass, the Fliederhof - Helene 2022 shows a deep ruby color with violet reflections, typical of Lagrein’s small, concentrated berries. The nose reveals spicy notes, dark berries, a hint of violet, and delicate roasted aromas. On the palate, it is powerful yet balanced, with a velvety tannin structure, medium body, and pleasant freshness. Nine months of aging in large French oak barrels add depth and complexity.
