Made from 70% botrytis grapes from granite soils, and picked in two passages and aged for 24 months in 70% new barriques, the golden-yellow 2014 Grain Noble Petite Arvine displays a rich, intense botrytis bouquet with refreshing tropical fruit aromas. Very sweet, round and intense, with lots of stewed stone fruits and tropical fruit flavors, this wine has nice acidity and positive bitters. This is a full-bodied, rich and juicy but also piquant, finessed and elegant noble sweet wine. There is good structure and a long and salty, stunningly pure and stimulating finish. This wine is not heavy or oily at all, and reveals a remarkable delicacy. I would keep it at least for another three or five years, but you can easily store it for 20 years. 93+/100 (12.2016) - Wine Advocate
