The 2013 Churer Blauburgunder Gian-Battista shows a dark, intense ruby color followed by a super intense, aromatic, cassis and potted strawberry bouquet with floral and herbal but also toasty and oaky aromas. It's all noble, fresh and pure or to be short: deep and promising. The wine is full-bodied, intense and juicy, driven by cassis flavors, oak and fine tannins. The texture is silky and the aftertaste long, warm, lush, powerful and almost sweet in its ripeness but also pretty oaky. This is a baby that can age, I guess, more than 20 years. 93/100 (09.2017)
