The Milazzo Maria Costanza Bianco is a milestone in Sicilian winemaking: in 1991, Milazzo was the first winery to daringly combine Inzolia and Chardonnay – a blend that remains a benchmark for elegance, expression, and longevity in Sicilian white wines. Since its creation, Maria Costanza Bianco has represented a new vision of terroir with an international reach. The combination of the native Inzolia with the globally esteemed Chardonnay creates a fascinating interplay in this wine: the minerality and finesse of Inzolia are perfectly complemented by the richness and structure of Chardonnay, resulting in a wine that is both deeply rooted in its region and stylistically cosmopolitan.
In the glass, Maria Costanza Bianco shows a beautiful straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose is alluring: delicate white flowers mingle with Mediterranean herbs, followed by enveloping notes of citrus blossoms and leaves. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, structured, and expressive. Its pronounced salinity ensures a long and persistent finish.
