Based on three-fourths Burgundian Pinot Noir clones, sourced from five plots and fermented with about 8% whole bunches, Studach's 2016 Malanser Pinot Noir is pure, very fine, fresh and spicy on the floral nose. Very clear, straight and elegant on the palate, this is a fresh, piquant and tensioned Pinot with good grip and length. It is still very young but already digestible and with good aging potential. 93/100 (02.2019) - Wine Advocate
