The Milazzo – Federico II Brut Classico is the king of Sicilian Metodo Classico sparkling wines. An exceptional creation, produced only in the best vintages and in strictly limited quantities, it is the realization of a decades-long dream: to craft a Sicilian Metodo Classico of supreme finesse, depth, and aging potential.


This extraordinary cuvée is based on the most expressive wines of a single vintage, combining different Chardonnay clones from the oldest vineyards of the estate. Each vine and parcel was carefully selected to optimally reflect the uniqueness of the vintage. The wine is aged on the lees for at least seven years in the cellars, a process that gives it remarkable complexity, texture, and depth of maturity.


In the glass, the Federico II shows a delicate straw-yellow color with green reflections. The mousse is fine, persistent, and elegant, crowned by a dense, stable foam. The nose reveals layered aromas of yeast, fresh bread, and vanilla, complemented by exotic fruit notes and a subtle, smoky flinty minerality. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with precise acidity and an elegant hint of almonds on the finish – a sparkling wine of great class, made for special moments, with impressive aging potential.
