The Milazzo – Rosé Extra Dry Metodo Classico elegantly combines the power of Inzolia Rosa (Nero d’Avola) with the freshness of Chardonnay. In this rosé-hued cuvée with a delicate Extra Dry dosage, structure and aromatic finesse merge to create an exceptionally balanced tasting experience. The fruit-forward style is supported by the selection of special clones – including the rare Nero d’Avola clone Inzolia Rosa – traditionally cultivated on the hills around Campobello di Licata.
The interplay of these grape varieties, combined with careful clonal selection and microclimatically diverse soils, produces a Metodo Classico Rosé characterized by fine bubbles, fresh fruit, and charming balance. The gentle residual sweetness of the Extra Dry dosage enhances the silky texture, making it particularly approachable without losing depth.
In the glass, this excellent rosé displays a bright pink color with violet reflections and fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, expressive aromas of red fruits emerge, particularly blackcurrant and wild blackberry. On the palate, the sparkling wine is balanced, charming, and lively – with gentle sweetness, fresh acidity, and a harmonious, fruity finish.
