The Gabbas - Dule 2017 is made from carefully selected Cannonau grapes from vines over 50 years old in the single vineyard of the same name. After a 20–25 day maceration, the wine matures for 12 months in French barriques, followed by an additional 10–12 months of bottle aging.
In the glass, the Dule 2017 shows a deep, dark ruby color. The nose is complex and intense, dominated by black forest fruits, dark cherry, and subtle cassis notes, complemented by smoky, mineral nuances, warm hints of vanilla, and a touch of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is powerful yet supple, with remarkable depth and balance. The forest fruit character is layered and playful, accompanied by herbal spice and vibrant structure. The tannins are present but silky, supporting an elegant, long-lasting finish.
One of the finest Cannonau di Sardegna, regularly awarded the prestigious “3 Glasses” by Gambero Rosso.
