The 2016 Barbaresco Starderi offers a terrific expression of the breadth that is so typical of this Neive site. Dark cherry, plum, spice, tobacco, menthol, espresso, leather and pine fill out the wine's ample frame nicely. Next to the Recta Pete, the Starderi presents a darker, more virile side of Nebbiolo.
