Vinified in 100% new oak, the intensely yellow colored 2017 Chardonnay Unique is very intense and rich on the nose, deep but very fine, with crystalline notes in the background. The palate is tight, fresh and highly finessed, with a long, crystalline finish and lovely salinity. This is a great Chardonnay from Grison—compact, tensioned and salty on the finish.
