Tasting notes
The 2011 Barolo Margheria is a dark and powerful wine with toned muscle support and structure that holds it tightly together. Fruit for this wine is sourced from 50-year-old vines planted in the clay and calcareous soils that characterize Serralunga d'Alba. Some 7,600 bottles were produced. The wine opens to dark concentration and bold aromas of blackberry, plum, spice and campfire ash.
