The Milazzo Riserva V38AG is a sparkling wine with symbolic significance: its name recalls the winery’s first official bottling code – V38AG, assigned over 40 years ago. This cuvée project is both a tribute to a long winemaking tradition and an expression of the accumulated expertise in the fine art of Metodo Classico.
The cuvée combines Chardonnay and Inzolia from different vintages, harvested from selected parcels across three of the estate’s terroirs. Part of the wine is aged in wood, part in steel – each component contributing individual structure, freshness, or aromatic complexity.
In the glass, the V38AG Metodo Classico Brut shows a bright straw-yellow color with greenish reflections and an exceptionally fine, persistent mousse. The nose is fresh and complex, revealing aromas of vanilla and delicate pastry, alongside Mediterranean herbs and subtle spice notes. On the palate, the sparkling wine is full-bodied, structured, creamy, and slightly saline. Its almost powdery texture provides an exciting mouthfeel, making this Metodo Classico a versatile and elegant companion for food.
