Interestingly, the 2008 Brut Rosé Millésimé Amour de Deutz is quite a bit more crystalline and tightly wound than the Blanc, which is just fine, as the nervy style here is more in keeping with the personality of the vintage. Cranberry, crushed rocks, mint and white pepper all add lift and vibrancy to this exceptionally pure, crystalline Champagne from Deutz. 94/100 (11.2018) -

Deutz' Millésime 2008 Amour de Deutz Rosé Brut shows a pale but brilliant salmon color and a clear, delicate bouquet of discreet red fruits as well as very fine spicy and floral notes. The palate is highly delicate and fresh, firmly structured and nicely dry, with good, dense, aromatic and well-structured length. However, the wine is still young and not yet perfectly round. 94/100 (06.2018) -

The 2008 Brut Rosé Millésimé Amour de Deutz is gorgeous and crystalline in the glass, as Champagnes from this vintage tend to be. Light on its feet yet also quite intense, the 2008 exudes energy in its finely sculpted red berry, floral and mineral-infused notes. The 2008 could use a bit more time in bottle to soften, but it is undeniably beautiful, even at this early stage. 95/100 (12.2017) -

The 2008 Amour de Deutz Rosé (375ml) is another compelling wine in this range. A host of rose petal, chalk, white pepper and sweet red berry scents open up effortlessly in the glass. Precise and finely sculpted, the 2008 can be enjoyed now or cellared for at least a few years. Once again, the Deutz Rosés have an uncanny ability to deliver intensity and vinosity with no excess weight. The 375ml bottles will be sold as a boxed set along with the 2008 William Deutz and Amour de Deutz Rosé. 95/100 (12.2015) -
