Tasting notes
The Château Lafite Rothschild 1992 presents a deep ruby garnet color with impressive depth and orange reflections, accompanied by a delicate water rim. The nose reveals aromas of cassis and blackberry jelly, with hints of cedarwood, cherry fruit, and delicate raisin notes. The bouquet is very inviting and well-developed. On the palate, the wine has a juicy structure with dark berry fruit and a fresh, well-structured base. A firm tannic core provides support, and the finish remains long and harmonious. A very pleasant surprise from the regular bottle, with undeniable potential for further development. Ideal for enjoyment over the next 15 years. 92/100 (11.2009) - falstaff.com
